Benenati and Riley Attend AOPA Leadership Conference

Vincent A. Benenati and Rick Riley participated in presentations and discussions about industry trends and market consolidation at an invitation-only gathering of manufacturers and O&P providers sponsored by the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA).

The two-day conference, held annually in January, provides a high-level forum for approximately 125 business owners and executives to exchange information and opinions about market and technology evolution; national and state legislation; and other critical factors related to the manufacturing, dispensing and billing of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Riley, who was recently elected to his second three-year term as a member of AOPA’s Board of Directors, has attended each of the previous leadership events.

“It is a privilege to attend this industry summit, and to serve on the AOPA board, representing members that are suppliers to the O&P industry,” said Riley, who is Span Link’s new VP of Sales & Marketing.

“It is a privilege to attend this industry summit, and to serve on the AOPA board, representing members that are suppliers to the O&P industry,” said Riley, who is Span Link’s new VP of Sales & Marketing. “There are many changes occurring in the USA market, including pending reductions to reimbursements and government policies that create unrealistic expectations for patients to be able to self-fit spine and knee braces. These changes will increase the need for the economically-focused services and products offered by Span Link.”
